Is Evida free?

Yes. The Free tier includes 1 ad account, 7 days of change history, and inline badges in Meta Ads Manager — no credit card, no email required. Paid tiers start at $19/mo (Solo) and unlock multi-account tracking, Slack alerts, and edit-to-performance correlation.

Does Evida work with Instagram ads too?

Yes. Evida reads from the Meta Ads API, which covers every ad account that runs on Facebook and Instagram — feed, Stories, Reels, Shops, Messenger. If it's in Meta Ads Manager, Evida tracks edits on it. One change log for both platforms.

Can multiple team members use Evida?

Studio includes 5 seats, Agency is unlimited seats, Network is unlimited. Every buyer installs the extension on their own Chrome, logs in to the shared Meta Business accounts, and the actor normalization engine matches every edit to a real human — so "who changed this" always has an answer.

Is my Meta API token safe?

On the Free tier, the token stays in chrome.storage.local and never leaves your browser. On Studio and above (where correlation and cross-client dashboards live), we store it encrypted at rest and only read the scopes you grant. You can revoke access from your Meta Business Settings at any time. Full details: privacy policy.

Does Evida need approval from Meta?

No. Evida uses Meta's public Graph API with read-only scopes that you authorize with your own token. There is no Meta app review required for customers — you install from the Chrome Web Store, paste your token, and you're done. Evida never writes back to your ad accounts.

Does Evida work in Chrome, Edge, and Safari?

Chrome and Chromium-based Edge are supported today — same extension, same Chrome Web Store listing. Safari is not supported (Apple uses a different extension platform). Firefox is on the roadmap. If you're on Arc, Brave, or Vivaldi, you're covered — they all accept Chrome Web Store extensions.

Why not just use Meta's native change log — it's free?

Because it's 3 clicks deep, one account at a time, and has no alerts. For a solo with 2 clients, the native log is fine. For an agency with 10 clients, you'll open 10 tabs to answer one client's question. We're not better than native — we're faster.

Do I have to give you my Meta API token?

The token stays on your machine. Nothing syncs to a server on the free tier. For Studio+ (where we do correlation and cross-client dashboards) we store the token encrypted and only read what's needed to build the log. You can revoke access from your Meta Business Settings any time.

Is this compliant with Meta's platform terms?

Yes. The extension uses Meta's public Graph API with read-only scopes (ads_read, ads_management — we never write back to your accounts). You authorize your own token; we don't scrape the DOM, don't bypass rate limits, and don't proxy your traffic. Data goes directly from your browser to graph.facebook.com.

My agency does 100+ edits per day on one account — will your limits bite?

No. Account limits mean distinct ad accounts, not edits. We log every edit on every connected account, regardless of volume. Retention windows apply (7d Free, 30d Solo, 90d Studio, 12 mo Agency+) but volume does not.

What's the difference between Studio and Agency? They look similar.

Three things. Agency gives you (a) unlimited team seats instead of 5 — so your junior AMs don't cost extra, (b) white-label client-facing digests — send weekly "what we did" reports with your agency's logo, and (c) 12 months of history for EOM reporting. Studio is for teams still growing. Agency is for teams billing clients.

Can I cancel anytime?

Does this work with Google Ads or TikTok Ads?
